HOW TO GET STARTED WITH iNATURALIST

At one of our Club meetings in June 2023, members of the Gabriola Area Land & Trails Trust (GALTT) demonstrated how they are using the iNaturalist app to identify and catalogue plant and animal species on Gabriola and neighbouring islands. Photo Club members were encouraged to get involved and many of our group expressed interest in doing so. Here’s GALTTS’s primer on how to get started using iNaturalist (downloadable PDF).

Having trouble getting your images the right size for sharing? Do people complain that the files you sent them are too big or small?  Here’s a link to “Size Matters” – a downloadable presentation given to our club in 2020, explaining when and why size is important and how to ensure your images and files are the right size for their purpose.
